PHILOSOPHY One take Citywalks offers simple camcorder recordings of random walks, shot on miniDV, made in a number of cities all over the world. The film is one continuous take and we do not use cuts or overdubs. A dull 12-minute stretch lasts for the same 12 minutes. One hour A one-hour walk from point A to B, shot on video tape, is nothing more than it claims to be. The walk is not prearranged and we do not provide any kind of tourist information. We do not comment on, nor do we clarify, the images being presented. One city At this stage we are happy to present to you the citywalks of Amsterdam, Berlin, Boston, Brussels, Cologne, Dublin, Helsinki, London, Monaco, Naples, New York, Nice, Paris, Pompeii, Rotterdam, Singapore, Strasbourg, Sydney, Tallinn, and Zurich. We will regularly add new walks to the site. Please visit us again. Join us for a walk! MISSION Our tapes are "wallpapers", which can be presented through video. They can be screened in waiting areas , lounges, night clubs and discotheques. Anyone interested in tasting the atmosphere of a city they once have lived in or visited, will enjoy a walk they haven't made in years. And finally, television stations might well want, in the night hours, to show one of our tapes as a change for the test card screened by so many of them throughout the world.
